SHIFT to: MyDailyChoice Independent Affiliate

Hello, Shifters! Today, I am sharing an interview with you from our fellow teacher, Marie Doyle and her SHIFT to MyDailyChoice Independent Affiliate.

Marie fell in love with photography when she participated in 4-H as a child. That passion has stay with her but unfortunately at the time, Photojournalism wasn’t a major option. So, she graduated in 1985 from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a minor in Art Design.

From there, Marie had hermy own business in South Florida at country clubs for their member parties, Bar and BatMitzvahs, Family Portraits, etc. She also worked at an auto glass company for a short time while doing photography on nights and weekends. Marie continued with photograph as a wedding and convention photographer for Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida for almost 10 years before moving into coordinating photographers and videographers for Disney and eventually joined the Marketing Department at Disney.

Once her children were entering middle school, Marie gave up the nights and weekends and studied to become a teacher as she wanted the same schedule as they had in order to keep them safe and on track for a wonderful life. Now that she is getting older and they are “Grown & Flown,” she has become an online business owner in the legal Cannabis Industry.

Marie discovered her new adventure over a social media post from an “amazing lady named Victoria that talked about the Cannabis Industry! I was intrigued so I started following her and kept an eye on her progress.”

Then, a friend suggested CBD for knee discomfort. Her orthopedic surgeon wanted to do a full knee replacement because it is bone on bone but she had replaced my knee 3 years prior! Not wanting to endure another surgery, she started the CBD through that social media friend Victoria, and decided that she was hooked. Within 3 weeks, she joined the company as an affiliate!

The results I experienced were phenomenal! She states that the product is amazing (I concur!) and she wants to share it with as many people as possible! She has found that it has provided much needed help for everyone in her family and is “truly grateful for Victoria introducing this company to me!

Micromanagement

After thirteen years of being a Special Education Teacher, Marie is disheartened by what what she sees happening in education. She finds that education is plagued with micromanagement. With Admin and Coaches insisting that if one follows a certain teaching style that they will most certainly become a great educator. Marie believes that great teachers are developed through experience.

Education=Corporation

Another reason Marie is eager to leave education is the corporate side that is all about the money. She finds education is “no longer focused on the success and the future of children. They are just a means to an end, and it is sad. Focus on how we can help these kids have a better life than their parents. Don’t focus on school grades, data, scores, test results, and all of that crap! It doesn’t matter! What matters is that teachers are able to positively impact the lives of these children….Nothing else matters. Make their life better, educate them, teach them, give them goals, teach them morals and ethics! Give them a future that is marvelous!”

What advice would you give to someone transitioning from another career into your role? I am head over heels with the passion for CBD and Hemp-infused products and also legalizing marijuana (with restrictions, of course). It can help so many people who suffer from discomfort and mental concern, to name a few!

From Marie: Do you know how helpful some of these products would be for students with focusing issue? How helpful they can be for children with other mental symptoms? I am a teacher, and always will be…..I want to teach people how amazing these products are. I continue to want to help others…that’s who I am!
