Where to start? That seems to be the million dollar question in the numerous groups, blogs, courses and podcasts that I have been scouring for weeks.
There is an abundance of courses and gurus out there but how do you know who to choose to listen to?
There are several gurus I would love to work with down the road.
I LOVE everything that Brittany Long promotes over at Life After Teaching! She really is a positive and motivational guru to follow. Go check her out!
I also enjoy listening to and reading information from Jaclyn Leo . She is an amazing coach for virtual assistants. Her excitement is contagious!
“Just do it!”
“Get started now!”
“It doesn’t have to be perfect!”
All the gurus agree that we shouldn’t get stuck and should just make the leap.
So what am I doing?
I am moving from full-time teaching to part-time teaching, so that I still have an income AND can focus on launching my own business.
In the meantime, I’m going to start this support group and discover what teaching skills I possess that can transfer to the virtual world.
Are you a mastermind at SMM?
D you possess e-mail management skills?
Guru of course development?
Do you need to learn SEO?
Want to develop social media skills?
Need to learn a new software?
A lot say not to barter because you are worth more than free work and you absolutely are worth so much more.
However, I am proposing the opposite. Barter with other people and learn a new skill or further develop and older one.
Invite fellow teachers or other career transition minded people to the group.
Let’s network and work together to develop our skills and become the best we can be.
Are you in? I’m totally open for a FaceTime coffee date!
